Role overview
As a Wireless Sales Consultant, you will be the go-to person for delivering a strong customer experience in the wireless department. The role focuses on sales, helping customers and business clients find wireless solutions that support their work and learning needs. You will stay current on wireless products, services, and market trends while building your knowledge through continuous learning and sharing that expertise with store colleagues and other teams.
What you will do
- Engage with customers, build relationships, and uncover opportunities for wireless and wireline sales.
- Guide customers toward solutions that meet or exceed their needs, with strong knowledge of products and services.
- Reconnect with customers after the sale, gather feedback, and recommend additional products and services that add value.
- Work with the broader store team to increase awareness of offers, generate interest in wireless, and encourage referrals.
- Work toward and achieve individual sales targets.
- Keep merchandising standards up to date, including accurate current pricing.
- Follow asset protection processes and maintain privacy standards.
- Stay informed using internal communication tools such as the mobile app, intranet, and bulletin boards.
- Handle customer concerns effectively and escalate issues to management when needed.
Qualifications
The position calls for prior wireless sales or general sales experience, along with a strong customer-first mindset. You should be comfortable selling, helping others improve, communicating clearly through different channels, and planning your workload so daily priorities are handled efficiently.
