About the role
This is an opening for an experienced, qualified Welder to join the team in Adelaide, South Australia. Initial training will take place in Burton, and candidates who complete the training successfully will move on to the client site in Osborne.
What the role offers

- On-site work with a well-established client
- Pay aligned to SA EBA Level 2 (110%) or Level 3 (120%), depending on the Enterprise Agreement after Shadbolt training is completed
- Permanent rate stated at $51.74 to $56.45 per hour
- Monday to Saturday paid at ordinary time
- Site allowance of $40 per day
Candidate requirements
- Ability to successfully complete a welding test before being selected
- Australian citizenship is mandatory due to Defence requirements
- Special Class Welder qualifications and relevant experience
- Proven background in shipbuilding or naval construction
- Strong capability in high-integrity welding to AS 1554.1 and Defence standards
- Willingness to complete a medical assessment
- Ability to provide a clear Federal Police Check
- Comfort working in a FIFO environment with a safety-first approach
