Role overview
DFDS is seeking a Warehouse Picker to help keep warehouse activity running smoothly in County Cork, Ireland. This role supports an essential logistics operation that serves communities across Europe and beyond, and offers the chance to contribute to a business where you can help shape how things are done.
Working pattern
This is a Monday to Friday position with shifts running either from 06:00 to 14:00 or from 14:00 to 22:00.
What you will do
- Pick customer orders with speed and a high level of accuracy.
- Unload incoming goods and get them ready to be stored.
- Use a PPT in a safe manner when the job calls for it.
- Keep the warehouse tidy, well organised, and safe for everyone.
- Carry out general warehouse tasks as required.
- Work in step with the wider team to keep operations moving efficiently.
About you
The ideal candidate brings previous experience in warehouse work and order picking, together with a current PPT licence. You should be comfortable working as part of a team, bring a positive attitude, communicate clearly, and be ready to get involved in a busy environment. A strong focus on accuracy and efficiency will help you succeed in this role.
