Warehouse Management Consultant

Role Overview

This is a full-time, permanent consulting position based in Melbourne or Brisbane, Australia. The role sits within a rapidly expanding advisory firm focused on supply chain technology, warehouse management, demand planning, and digital transformation. The team helps organizations improve supply chain performance through modern systems, better processes, and data-driven decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Contribute to the rollout, improvement, and ongoing support of MAWM and/or RELEX platforms.
• Work with supply chain and warehouse teams to capture, clarify, and document business needs.
• Set up system configurations in line with operational and business requirements.
• Take part in solution design discussions and process optimization work.
• Carry out functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Track down system problems and work with both business and technical stakeholders to resolve them.
• Assist with deployments, production cutovers, and post-launch stabilization.
• Review system behavior and identify opportunities for ongoing improvement.
• Create training content, supporting documentation, and knowledge-sharing materials.
• Partner with internal users, implementation vendors, and cross-functional project teams.

Required Background

• Between 5 and 8 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse management, demand planning, or retail technology settings.
• Practical, hands-on experience with Manhattan Active Warehouse Management is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, warehouse workflows, inventory control, and demand planning.
• Prior involvement in system implementations, enhancements, and live production support.
• Experience in configuration, testing, and validating business processes within systems.
• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional project environments.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to RELEX Demand Forecasting and/or replenishment tools.
• Background in retail, distribution, logistics, or eCommerce operations.
• Understanding of forecasting, replenishment, inventory optimization, and allocation.
• Working knowledge of warehouse activities such as receiving, putaway, inventory handling, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Familiarity with integration testing and data validation practices.
• Experience operating in Agile delivery teams.
