Role overview
This is a full-time permanent consulting opportunity based in Melbourne or Brisbane, Australia. The role sits within a fast-growing advisory firm focused on supply chain technology, warehouse management, demand planning, and digital transformation. The team helps organizations improve supply chain performance through modern systems, process redesign, and analytics-driven decision-making.
What you'll do
- Contribute to the rollout, improvement, and ongoing support of MAWM and/or RELEX-based solutions.
- Work with supply chain and warehouse teams to collect, clarify, and document business needs.
- Set up system configurations in line with operational and functional requirements.
- Take part in solution design discussions and process improvement efforts.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing activities.
- Troubleshoot issues and work with both business and technical stakeholders to resolve them.
- Assist with deployments, production releases, and stabilization after go-live.
- Track system behavior and suggest improvements where needed.
- Create training content, user documentation, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Partner with internal users, implementation vendors, and cross-functional project teams.
What we're looking for
- 5 to 8 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse management, demand planning, or retail technology environments.
- Practical, hands-on experience with Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of supply chain workflows, warehouse operations, inventory control, and demand planning.
- Background in supporting implementations, enhancements, and production support activities.
- Hands-on capability in system configuration, testing, and validating business processes.
- Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional project settings.
- Preferred exposure to RELEX demand forecasting or replenishment.
- Useful experience in retail, distribution, logistics, or eCommerce operations.
- Understanding of forecasting, replenishment, inventory optimization, and allocation.
- Knowledge of warehouse activities such as receiving, putaway, inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Familiarity with integration testing and data validation.
- Exposure to Agile ways of working is an advantage.
