Role summary
The company is looking for an experienced MAWM / RELEX Demand Forecasting Consultant to contribute to supply chain technology programs. In this role, you will partner with business teams, operational users, and technical stakeholders to implement, configure, test, and support warehouse management and demand forecasting platforms. A strong background in supply chain workflows, warehouse operations, and system delivery is essential.
Location and work type
This role is based in Melbourne or Brisbane, Australia. It is a full-time, permanent position and requires on-site work.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the rollout, improvement, and ongoing support of MAWM and/or RELEX solutions.
- Collect and record business needs from supply chain and warehouse teams.
- Set up system configurations in line with operational requirements.
- Contribute to solution planning and business process enhancement efforts.
- Carry out functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Analyze application issues and work with business and technical teams to resolve them.
- Support deployments, production launches, and stabilization after go-live.
- Track system behavior and suggest ways to improve performance and usability.
- Create training guides, documentation, and handover materials.
- Work closely with business users, implementation partners, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
Must-have qualifications
The ideal candidate should have 5 to 8 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse management, demand planning, or retail technology settings. Practical experience with Manhattan Active Warehouse Management is mandatory. You should also have a solid grasp of supply chain, warehouse, inventory, and demand planning operations, along with experience in implementations, enhancements, and production support. Strong capability in configuration, testing, and validating business processes is required, as well as excellent analytical thinking, problem solving, and stakeholder management. Prior work in collaborative project teams is important.
Preferred experience
Additional value will be given to candidates with experience in RELEX demand forecasting or replenishment. Exposure to retail, distribution, logistics, or eCommerce environments is beneficial. Familiarity with forecasting, replenishment, inventory optimization, and allocation processes is also preferred. Experience across warehouse activities such as receiving, putaway, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping will be an advantage. Knowledge of integration testing, data validation, and Agile delivery methods is useful.
