About the Company
This role sits within a rapidly expanding consulting firm focused on supply chain technology, warehouse management, demand planning, and digital transformation. The business works with clients to improve supply chain performance by combining technology implementation, process redesign, and data-driven insights.
Role Summary
The organization is looking for an experienced MAWM / RELEX Demand Forecasting Consultant to contribute to supply chain technology programs. In this position, you will partner with business teams, operations specialists, and technology vendors to implement, configure, test, and support warehouse management and demand forecasting platforms. Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, warehouse workflows, and enterprise system delivery is essential.
Location and Work Type
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Melbourne or Brisbane, Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the rollout, improvement, and ongoing support of MAWM and/or RELEX-based solutions.
- Collect, interpret, and record business needs from supply chain and warehouse stakeholders.
- Set up system parameters in line with agreed business requirements.
- Take part in solution design discussions and initiatives to improve processes.
- Carry out functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Track down system defects and work with business and technical teams to resolve them.
- Contribute to deployments, production cutovers, and stabilization after go-live.
- Review system behavior and suggest opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Create training content, supporting documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Work collaboratively with business users, implementation partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Required Experience and Skills
The ideal candidate should have 5 to 8 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse management, demand planning, or retail technology settings. Practical experience with Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) is mandatory. A solid grasp of supply chain, inventory, warehouse, and forecasting processes is also required, along with exposure to implementation, enhancement, production support, configuration, testing, and business validation work.
Preferred Experience
Additional value will be given to candidates who have worked with RELEX Demand Forecasting or replenishment tools, or who have exposure to retail, distribution, logistics, or eCommerce environments. Familiarity with forecasting, replenishment, inventory optimization, allocation, warehouse operations, integration testing, data validation, and Agile delivery will be advantageous.
