Warehouse Assistant

Role Overview

The Warehouse Assistant supports day-to-day warehouse operations by handling inventory, preparing customer orders, maintaining stock accuracy, and helping keep the work area organized, safe, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, count, and put away physical stock in the warehouse.
• Open cartons, crates, and other packaging as needed.
• Help ensure orders move through the warehouse efficiently and are delivered within customer expectations and business timelines.
• Select items based on the order document.
• Check products for damage or defects and update inventory records accordingly.
• Pack items according to the required packing standards.
• Process shipments and customer orders in the inventory system, including entering tracking numbers and related links.
• Keep shelves, storage areas, and workstations clean and orderly through sweeping, vacuuming, and general housekeeping.
• Maintain a well-organized warehouse and workspace at all times.
• Use the required safety gear and follow safety practices.
• Request replenishment of supplies on time, including prepaid shipping materials and stationery.
• Look for ways to improve warehouse processes and productivity.
• Work closely with teammates and communicate effectively across the operation.
• Follow internal delivery procedures and working standards.
• Support corrective actions aimed at preventing recurring issues.
• Track and maintain stock accuracy by matching physical inventory with the inventory management system and recording all stock movements correctly.
• Demonstrate resilience, confidence, optimism, and adaptability to change.
