Role overview
This remote, full-time position is part of a rapidly expanding operation and is suited for candidates who can work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-moving environment. The role focuses on processing medical record requests accurately and within required timelines.
Key responsibilities
- Handle incoming medical record requests end to end.
- Work in a high-volume, fast-paced processing environment.
- Report to the Processing Manager.
- Support overflow work when request volume spikes or coverage gaps occur.
- Follow HIPAA requirements and protect confidential PHI at all times.
- Complete assigned requests within 24 to 48 hours of receipt for designated accounts.
- Share observations about request volumes and any issues noticed during processing.
- Track and monitor requests arriving through multiple channels.
- Carry out general office-related tasks as needed.
