Job overview

This is a full-time remote role for a Virtual Assistant / Appointment Setter. The position starts at $3.00 per hour and includes bonus opportunities. The ideal candidate will be confident speaking on the phone, well organized, and comfortable handling cold calls and appointment scheduling. Prior exposure to insurance leads or sales-focused teams is strongly preferred.

Key responsibilities

  • Place daily outbound calls to both warm and cold leads.
  • Book appointments for agents through the company’s internal tools.
  • Use call scripts while still creating a friendly connection with prospects.
  • Respond to simple objections and keep interactions professional.
  • Maintain clear, accurate notes and activity logs in the CRM.
  • Send appointment confirmations and follow-up messages.
  • Track leads, booked appointments, and outcomes in an orderly way.
  • Share daily updates with management on progress and targets.

What we are looking for

  • Hands-on experience with cold calling and appointment scheduling.
  • Background in insurance, financial services, or sales is preferred.
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Good listening skills and the ability to communicate clearly.
  • Very organized with strong focus on accuracy and details.
  • Comfort working independently and hitting daily goals.
  • Reliable high-speed internet access.
  • A quiet, professional home workspace.
  • Availability to work full-time during U.S. business hours.
  • Familiarity with CRMs, dialers, Calendly, or similar scheduling software is an advantage.

Compensation and work setup

Pay starts at $3.00 per hour with additional bonus incentives. This is a full-time remote position. There are opportunities for pay increases and performance-based bonuses depending on results.
