About the Company
Rithum is a commerce network built to help brands, suppliers, and retailers work together more efficiently and deliver smooth e-commerce experiences. Its platform supports growth, operational improvement across channels, expansion of product assortments, and margin enhancement. More than 40,000 businesses use Rithum across hundreds of channels, with over $50 billion in annual GMV handled through its commerce, marketing, and delivery solutions.
Role Overview
Rithum operates with an AI-first mindset, so team members are expected to use AI and technology to work more efficiently, simplify processes, and build scalable ways of working. In this role, you will help lead technical product initiatives by understanding platform capabilities and constraints, turning business needs into precise requirements, and owning work from planning through launch. You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, UX, and Client Success teams to prioritize and deliver solutions that create measurable value. Data, customer feedback, and market insights will guide your decisions and help drive adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Product Manager with strategic operations initiatives.
- Convert business priorities into detailed technical product outputs such as user stories, acceptance criteria, documentation, and delivery plans, while leading scoping discussions.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data Science, UX, and Client Success to shape, rank, and launch important capabilities.
- Own execution across discovery, planning, development, testing, release preparation, and post-launch improvements, including roadmap work, enablement, and documentation.
- Create and maintain a structured intake and triage process for enhancement requests and operational tasks, capturing context, impact, dependencies, and suggested priority for leadership review.
- Keep an up-to-date view of major platform risks and repeated operational issues, and raise them early to product leadership.
- Coordinate priorities, dependencies, schedules, risks, and status updates across multiple projects.
- Use data, client input, and market trends to guide product choices and improve feature usefulness.
- Manage product docs, release notes, internal enablement content, and stakeholder communications.
- Support customer and internal conversations to clarify needs, validate use cases, and improve adoption.
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, and Claude to speed up and improve communication, analysis, prompt writing, and documentation.
Qualifications
You should have at least 2 years of experience in technical product management, product management, or technical project leadership within a software company. The company prefers candidates who have worked on data, AI, e-commerce, marketplace, pricing, or content optimization products, and those with exposure to APIs, data workflows, analytics, or automation. You should be comfortable turning vague requests into clear requirements and delivering work across teams. Experience reading API documentation is important, including REST concepts, authentication, payload structure, and webhook basics. A bachelor’s or advanced degree in a related field is preferred. Additional advantages include experience with the Rithum for Brands (ChannelAdvisor) platform, an intrapreneurial or founder-like mindset, familiarity with AI tools for documentation or solution building, experience in integration-heavy environments, and use of tools such as JIRA, Notion, backlog systems, documentation tools, and basic data analysis. Travel of up to 10% is required.
Compensation
The expected base salary range for this role is $75,000 to $130,000 per year. In addition, non-sales roles receive a discretionary bonus equal to 10% of annual base salary. Final compensation can vary based on geography, skills, and relevant experience.
Benefits
The role includes medical, dental, and vision coverage with affordable plans and company HSA contributions beginning on day one, a 6% 401(k) match, and a strong time-off package that includes 20 PTO days, 9 company-paid holidays, 2 paid floating holidays, 7 paid sick days, 2 wellness days, and 1 paid volunteer day. PTO increases to 22 days after 3 years and 25 days after 5 years of service. Other benefits include 12 weeks of primary caregiver leave and 4 weeks of secondary caregiver leave, accident/critical illness/hospital indemnity insurance, pet insurance, legal assistance and identity theft coverage, life insurance at 2x salary, access to the Calm app and Employee Assistance Program, a $65 monthly remote work internet stipend, culture and team-building activities, tuition assistance, career development support, and a charitable contribution match of up to $250 per year.
Additional Information
This role is open to qualified applicants in the United States and is offered in a remote-first setup. The company follows an equal opportunity hiring approach and considers applicants based on qualifications, merit, and business need. Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified candidates who need support during the interview or application process.
