Role overview

Blackwoods is hiring an energetic Storeperson for its Kalgoorlie, WA warehouse team. The business is growing, and this position plays a hands-on part across the distribution centre, with exposure to receiving, dispatch, picking, packing, and support for the trade store as required.

You’ll work with modern warehouse automation tools and Microsoft Dynamics, in a workplace that values collaboration, a family-friendly approach, and safety at the centre of everything. Training on the job is available, along with pathways for further development.

Key duties

  • Accurately pick, pack, and send out customer orders.
  • Accept incoming stock, apply labels, and put goods away in the correct locations.
  • Load and unload vehicles while keeping shelving and stock levels organised.
  • Assist customers at the trade store counter and carry out general housekeeping tasks.
  • Enter data into warehouse systems and operate forklifts where required.

What the role calls for

  • Background in warehousing, particularly in receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch work.
  • A current forklift licence, supported by hands-on operating experience.
  • Clear communication, a strong work ethic, and a proactive, can-do mindset.
  • A service-focused attitude and the ability to work effectively with others.
  • Familiarity with computer systems is an advantage.
