About the Opportunity

BlueScope Distribution is hiring a Storeperson for its warehouse team in Gladstone. The distribution division provides steel and aluminium product supply, processing, and service solutions to customers across multiple industries, helping them complete projects on schedule and to the required specifications.

This role is customer-facing and supports branch operations by helping ensure products and solutions are delivered safely and on time. The company is looking for someone who is eager to learn, well organised, and able to work well with others. Ongoing training and support will be provided to help you develop across all parts of the role and create future career pathways.

Working Arrangements

This is a permanent full-time position based onsite in Gladstone. The role follows a Monday to Friday schedule, with shifts running from 7:30am to 4:00pm.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Loading and unloading products from trucks in a safe manner
  • Picking and packing customer orders accurately for collection
  • Storing and organising stock in the correct locations
  • Operating processing equipment and machines
  • Verifying picked orders, preparing invoices, and handling branch transfers
  • Managing filing for receipts and invoices
  • Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and well maintained
  • Helping with regular stocktakes and inventory checks
  • Contributing to a workplace culture that prioritises safety
