About Polène
Established in 2016, Polène is a French leather goods house known for refined artisanal know-how and enduring designs shaped by natural forms. As the brand expands internationally, its operations are being strengthened for 2026 and beyond, with a focus on building deep expertise across the organization. The company’s artistic identity is supported by 800 artisans working from its workshops in Ubrique, Spain.
This opportunity places you inside a new boutique team where you will help deliver a premium in-store experience. The role is part of the store’s journey as it grows its presence and serves an international luxury clientele.
Role Overview
As a Stock Associate, you will be part of the boutique team and report to the Stock Controller. The position is centered on keeping stock operations accurate, efficient, and aligned with the standards expected in a luxury retail environment. The role calls for hands-on support across stock handling, coordination with the sales floor, and inventory control.
Responsibilities
- Handle all incoming and outgoing merchandise by unpacking deliveries, following receiving procedures, and placing items correctly in the stockroom while keeping storage well organized and space-efficient.
- Share inventory updates with the headquarters supply manager and stay in daily contact with the sales team regarding items that are overstocked or unavailable.
- Support smooth coordination between sales staff and stock operations by moving items from the stockroom and preparing requested products for customers.
- Organize and track transfers between boutiques and promote clear communication within the stock team.
- Take part in stock counts and official inventory checks, review discrepancies when needed, and help locate products using the brand’s internal tools.
- Work across the boutique floor and stockroom areas as needed, building solid knowledge of the full product range.
- Stay focused on targets and contribute proactively to action plans that support performance goals.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working with high-end, international customers in a comparable role, preferably in luxury retail or leather goods.
- Strong independence, flexibility, and energy, with the ability to perform well in a busy store environment.
- Genuine interest in the products, craftsmanship, and expertise behind leather goods, with the ability to discuss them confidently with clients.
- Comfort working in a collaborative team environment with a supportive and cooperative mindset.
- Ability to respond quickly to urgent situations and find practical solutions, while remaining adaptable across varied tasks.
