Role overview
This opportunity is based in a new boutique environment where the team is focused on delivering an outstanding customer journey to a sophisticated international clientele. The position calls for a strong interest in luxury leather goods, a commitment to exceptional service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting.
Team leadership
- Act as the Store Manager’s support and help coordinate daily team operations.
- Encourage teamwork and make sure key information is communicated clearly across the store.
- Ensure the team understands the brand direction and applies it consistently on the shop floor.
- Support and guide stockists so they can meet their targets.
- Run regular meetings with the stock team and help new hires learn store procedures.
- Assist with store planning, including schedules, lunch coverage, and preparation for morning briefings.
Operational contribution
- Oversee warehouse-related tasks such as accepting and checking deliveries, handling customer reservations, managing obsolete products, invoices, relabeling, and packaging.
- Follow the required inventory process for product-family counts and the yearly stocktake.
- Suggest practical improvements to internal operations, procurement flow, and logistics organization.
- Carry out regular stock reviews to support better planning and optimization.
- Help organize and improve storage areas in a busy retail environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar position, preferably in luxury retail or leather goods.
- Strong independence, flexibility, and the ability to stay effective during changing store traffic.
- Good product knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for craftsmanship and leather goods, with the confidence to share that passion with customers.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to support colleagues.
- Comfort handling urgent situations and finding quick, workable solutions.
