Position Overview
This permanent role is based in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, requiring 35 working hours weekly primarily at a fast food restaurant. The language spoken is English.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate activities of food preparation and portioning staff.
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Calculate needed ingredients and supplies for meal preparations.
- Ensure food quality and service meet established standards.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns effectively.
- Maintain detailed records including inventory, maintenance, sales, and waste.
- Develop and manage employee work schedules.
Supervision
Manage a team size ranging from 5 to 10 individuals.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Fast-paced setting requiring ability to work well under pressure.
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking; prolonged standing periods and physical activities such as bending, crouching, and kneeling are common.
