About the Company
Kraft Heinz is a major global food and beverage business known for producing high-quality, flavorful, and nutritious products that reach the vast majority of U.S. households. The company is investing heavily in digital capabilities to build a more agile, modern enterprise while continuing its 150-year legacy and broad portfolio of iconic brands. Its digital vision centers on small, mission-led teams, impactful technology, and intelligent AI-driven solutions that support consumers, customers, and the business at large.
Role Overview
The Senior Workday Integration Developer will be responsible for creating, supporting, and improving Workday integrations that keep data moving accurately between systems. This position sits within the Workday Platform team and is part of a broader HR transformation effort, making it a key role in enabling modern HR operations and platform connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, test, release, and support Workday integrations using tools and technologies such as PECI, RaaS, EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and REST/SOAP web services.
- Work with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Identity Platform, Time Keeping, Travel and Expense, Procurement, and other IT stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into integration designs.
- Assess the effect of Workday and connected-application upgrades, and carry out regression testing to protect system stability.
- Ensure integrations follow Workday security standards, compliance needs, and data integrity best practices.
- Coordinate with implementation partners, AMS support, and the Workday product team to resolve issues and support ongoing improvements.
- Create and keep up-to-date technical documentation such as integration design documents and process flow diagrams.
- Track Workday release changes and new integration capabilities, then recommend enhancements where they can improve existing solutions.
- Support Workday platform administration tasks including SSO setup, tenant refreshes, and certificate updates.
Experience and Technical Expectations
The role calls for at least 5 years of experience in Workday integrations, with hands-on exposure to Workday PECI, Core Connector, Studio, web services, and XML/XSLT transformations. Candidates should also be comfortable with Workday reporting, security configuration, and payroll integration delivery through PECI templates. A solid grasp of Workday HCM, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and Compensation is expected.
Working Style and Collaboration
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and the confidence to debug complex integration problems. Clear communication is important, along with the ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams. Experience with data privacy regulations, IT SOX compliance, and audit procedures is also important. This role may involve guiding junior developers and external implementation teams, and experience in Agile or Scrum environments is preferred.
