Role Overview
This position is for an experienced Senior Project Manager focused on cybersecurity delivery in Sharjah, UAE. The role is centered on steering complex security programs across enterprise environments, covering infrastructure, application, and cloud-related work while staying aligned with internal security governance and standards.
What You Will Do
- Own the full lifecycle of cybersecurity initiatives, from planning and execution through monitoring and final handover.
- Set project boundaries, milestones, resource plans, and outputs that support security goals.
- Spot, assess, and control project risks, blockers, and interdependencies tied to security and compliance.
- Work closely with teams across security, infrastructure, applications, and operations to keep delivery on track.
- Run workshops and stakeholder discussions to capture and refine security requirements.
- Convert business and security priorities into structured delivery plans and implementation roadmaps.
- Lead the deployment and rollout of security solutions across multiple systems and organizational units.
- Make sure all work follows company security policies, governance expectations, and recognized frameworks.
- Coordinate with vendors and external delivery partners involved in cybersecurity implementation.
- Support smooth integration of security tools into the existing technology landscape.
- Monitor progress, encourage adoption of security controls, and push projects toward successful completion.
- Share regular status updates, reports, and risk summaries with relevant stakeholders.
Experience and Background
The role calls for 8 to 12 years of project management experience, along with a strong track record in cybersecurity or infrastructure-related initiatives. Exposure to areas such as identity security, application security, or cloud security is important. Experience working with technical and business stakeholders is essential, and vendor or partner management experience is expected. Background in government, public sector, or large enterprise settings will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
Applicants should bring strong planning and delivery capabilities, a sound understanding of cybersecurity principles and governance frameworks, and the ability to communicate effectively between technical and non-technical teams. Stakeholder management, reporting, and vendor oversight are key parts of the job. Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS is preferred.
Preferred Certifications
Professional project management credentials such as PMP or PRINCE2 are preferred. Security certifications including CISSP, CISM, or Security+ are also valued.
