Role Purpose

This position sits within the sales function and is focused on strengthening in-store visibility and shelf presence across the outlets covered by the merchandiser. The role may also involve in-store sampling and promotional activities when needed. Planogram compliance is expected for both shelf and non-shelf displays, and any mismatch with agreed arrangements must be escalated to the pre-seller right away. The merchandiser is also expected to share current market updates so the pre-seller can act on sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit designated OT outlets according to the daily route plan provided by the supervisor.
• Merchandise SSFL products across available in-store touchpoints such as shelves, stands, floor displays, and other access points.
• Place POS materials alongside SSFL displays wherever relevant.
• Ensure all display areas follow the approved planograms.
• Apply FIFO stock rotation and remove products that do not meet quality standards.
• Keep shelf stock of SSF products clean, fresh, and well maintained at all times.
• Track competitor activity and report observations.
• Escalate any deviation from the agreed terms with the assigned OT customer or outlet.
• Submit the previous day’s activity updates to the supervisor each day.
• Support sampling or redemption campaigns whenever required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and behavior aligned with the Frito Lay code of conduct.

Performance Measures

Success in this role will be assessed through execution standards, LTA enforcement, and adherence to the journey plan.

Qualifications and Competencies

• A valid driving licence is required.
• The candidate should be strongly service-oriented.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.
