  • Meeting individual performance targets and KPIs while contributing to the wider team.
  • Acting as a champion for a designated area of responsibility and keeping colleagues updated so they can make the most of business opportunities.
  • Collecting stock through cash-and-carry visits as required.
  • Planning daily activity through a call file so every store visit adds value.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
  • Building and strengthening customer relationships to improve service and sales outcomes.
  • Developing, expanding and maintaining a personal customer portfolio.

What the employer is looking for

  • Prior selling ability and confidence in a sales environment.
  • Basic IT competence.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Good time management and the ability to prioritise independently.
  • A positive, persuasive approach to work.
  • Comfort working with little day-to-day supervision.
  • Experience of working toward targets.

Benefits and rewards

  • Competitive pay plus commission.
  • Company car.
  • Company mobile phone.
  • Company tablet.
  • Flexible benefits package.
  • 25 days of holiday, with the option to buy or sell additional days, plus bank holidays.
  • Extensive pension scheme.
