Senior Finance & Strategy Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Finance & Strategy team at Deliveroo to help shape the company’s financial future. You will contribute directly to framing the business strategy, enhance investment decisions and optimize capital allocation to fuel our worldwide expansion. Key Responsibilities

• Develop strategic investment decision frameworks in close partnership with various business stakeholders to guide key company initiatives.
• Manage in-depth financial models to find the right balance between accelerating growth and achieving sustainable profitability.
• Lead complex financial modeling projects to assess new opportunities and build business cases for innovative products.
• Analyze pivotal financial and operational key performance indicators (KPIs) to detect trends, assess risks, and identify emerging market prospects.
• Drive process improvements through projects aimed at automating and scaling forecasting and reporting tools to keep pace with business evolution.
• Collaborate with operational and departmental leaders to establish policies and ensure financial goals are met through effective execution.

Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience (typically over 8 years) in strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking, preferably within fast-growing technology companies.
• Proven success in leading and mentoring finance teams with a commitment to building high-performance finance functions.
• Strong influence skills to earn senior leadership trust and drive strategic discussions across complex organizational structures.
• Advanced expertise in Excel or Google Sheets to create comprehensive financial models and translate complex data into clear insights.
• Experience managing budgets and forecasts for significant business segments and partnering with operational teams to achieve targets.
• Competency in SQL or a keen willingness to learn to efficiently handle large datasets and extract meaningful business intelligence.
