Job Overview

We seek a seasoned Senior Commercial Manager based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to provide strategic leadership in commercial operations throughout the GCC region. This role is pivotal for steering commercial excellence, enhancing business outcomes, and leading diverse teams while upholding high professional and analytical standards.

Primary Duties

  • Formulate and implement comprehensive commercial strategies in alignment with company goals and GCC market conditions.
  • Oversee complete commercial operations including negotiations with vendors, contract oversight, and supplier relationship management.
  • Conduct analysis of market trends, competitive environment, and financial performance to identify opportunities for growth and cost savings.
  • Lead, mentor, and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within commercial teams.
  • Manage the profit and loss for designated commercial portfolios ensuring both profitability and operational effectiveness.
  • Negotiate and finalize commercial contracts guaranteeing favorable terms and adherence to organizational policies.
  • Coordinate with senior leaders and cross-functional divisions to align commercial strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Track key performance indicators and compile detailed commercial performance reports and market insights.
  • Drive process enhancements to improve commercial workflows and satisfaction among stakeholders.
  • Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key clients, partners, and vendors across the GCC.

Candidate Qualifications

  • At least 19 years of progressive experience in commercial management with significant involvement in GCC markets.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute commercial strategies.
  • Strong skills in negotiation and managing contracts within complex commercial environments.
  • Advanced analytical skills including financial analysis, P&L oversight, and interpretation of performance metrics.
  • Deep understanding of GCC market dynamics, regulations, and business practices.
  • Highly skilled in stakeholder management and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities to develop and manage high-performing teams.
  • Experience in vendor management and optimizing supply chains.
  • Sound business judgment with a keen sense for market opportunities and revenue growth.
  • Fluent English communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and commercial management software.
  • Preferred experience in business development and market expansion.
  • Familiarity with regional procurement protocols and customs regulations is a plus.
