Role Overview

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth in the residential and C&I segments by shaping sales strategy, building customer relationships, and converting opportunities into revenue. The role requires market insight, strong negotiation skills, and close coordination with internal teams to support customer needs and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and execute sales plans aimed at meeting revenue goals and increasing market share in the residential and commercial & industrial segments.
  • Develop and nurture strong working relationships with important customers such as developers, EPC contractors, integrators, and other key stakeholders.
  • Research the market to understand trends, customer expectations, and competitor activity, then use those findings to improve sales approach and product positioning.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and participation in industry events, while managing the sales funnel from lead generation through deal closure.
  • Work with technical teams to assess customer needs and shape solar solutions that match project requirements, offering guidance throughout the sales cycle.
  • Handle contract discussions and negotiations while protecting the company’s commercial interests and securing favorable terms.
  • Partner with marketing, operations, finance, and legal teams to support sales execution, address customer concerns, and contribute to business expansion.
  • Track sales results, review performance data, prepare management reports, and implement corrective actions where needed.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.
  • Proven success in managing complex contract negotiations involving multiple parties.
  • Background in value-based selling and building account development plans within the PV or solar sector.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and stakeholders.
  • Good spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as business needs require.
