About the Role

The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in delivering an exceptional customer experience at Lenskart stores by upholding high standards of sales service. This position significantly contributes to the store's revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Welcome all walk-in customers warmly and direct them to the clinic area while promoting the complimentary eye check-up service.
• Support stocktaking activities, maintain the sales floor standards, and manage everyday tasks to enhance the shopping experience.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transaction processing.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction by resolving concerns thoroughly.
• Product Recommendations: Utilize information from the Optometrist and customers to suggest the most suitable products, engaging customers effectively to facilitate sales.
• Recognize customers' implicit needs by asking pertinent questions and presenting solutions at appropriate moments.
• Meeting Sales Targets and Compliance: Attain the store’s set goals for sales, eye-test conversions, and product returns by faithfully following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Manage post-sale processes including coordinating product pickup notifications, verifying lenses' accuracy before handover, and addressing return reasons to minimize return rates.
• Store Maintenance: Uphold Lenskart’s hygiene standards by regularly cleaning displays, frames, instruments, and other store equipment.
• Safeguard store inventory by ensuring no shortages or damages to stock or equipment.

Working Conditions

This position requires a six-day workweek with rotating weekly offs and shifts based on business needs; night shifts are not part of this role.

Training

Successful applicants will undergo a mandatory one-month offline training program at Lenskart Academy, which is essential for onboarding.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary ranges between ₹300,000 to ₹350,000. Performance-based incentives are available, along with health insurance coverage.

Eligibility and Requirements

• Applicants must be residing in Pune.
• Minimum educational qualification is completion of 12th grade; graduates are preferred.
• Strong skills in relationship building, effective communication (spoken and written English), multitasking, adaptability, and result orientation are essential.
• Ability to understand unstated customer needs and proactively offer solutions.
• Must demonstrate clear articulation, active listening, and a readiness to learn and adapt.
• Proactive ownership of tasks and prioritization capabilities.
