Lenskart is an eyewear retailer focused on making vision care more accessible across India. Its product range includes prescription glasses, branded contact lenses, and sunglasses tailored to customers’ vision needs.
Role overview
The Sales Associate will be responsible for delivering an excellent in-store experience, supporting store revenue, and helping customers find the right eyewear solutions.
Customer experience
- Welcome every walk-in customer warmly and guide them to the clinic for the complimentary eye check-up.
- Support daily store activities such as stock checks, floor upkeep, and other routine tasks that contribute to a smooth shopping experience.
- Understand and use the POS system at a basic level so transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Focus on customer satisfaction and take initiative to resolve concerns as effectively as possible.
Product guidance and selling
- Use inputs from the optometrist and the customer to suggest suitable products and turn conversations into sales opportunities.
- Identify unspoken customer needs by asking the right questions and choosing the right moment to recommend solutions.
Sales targets and process compliance
- Work toward the assigned targets for sales, eye-test conversion, and returns while following all standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate with the customer for product collection after warehouse communication is received.
- Check that fitted lenses are accurate before handing over the product.
- In return cases, understand the reason for the return and try to resolve it to help reduce return levels.
Store upkeep and safety
- Keep the store hygienic and well maintained, including displays, frames, instruments, and equipment.
- Protect company equipment and ensure stock is neither missing nor damaged.
Training and incentives
Selected candidates must complete an in-person training program at a designated Lenskart Academy as part of onboarding. Performance-linked incentives are offered.
