About the Role
The Relationship Manager for Tractor Loans plays a pivotal role in attracting and overseeing customers pursuing tractor financing. This position entails collaborating closely with product teams, operations, and dealerships to enhance customer acquisition and maintain a robust portfolio. Managing dealership clients and contributing to the branch’s banking objectives are core facets of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard new tractor loan customers by performing credit evaluations and providing comprehensive financial solutions.
- Engage consistently with existing clients, informing them about interest rate changes and new product options.
- Enroll new dealers, Direct Selling Agents (DSAs), and Direct Sales Teams (DSTs) to expand market reach.
- Develop dealership business leads through referrals, promotional efforts, and direct customer engagement.
- Lead training sessions on policy guidelines for internal teams to ensure product knowledge alignment.
- Address customer inquiries proactively to maintain satisfaction.
- Oversee channel and team productivity to ensure quality sourcing and portfolio health.
- Analyze competitors’ products and strategies to support growth initiatives.
- Suggest enhancements in processes aimed at improving service delivery and quality within the branch network.
- Organize and implement sales promotions and marketing campaigns to boost business expansion.
- Collaborate with diverse business units to uncover cross-selling opportunities.
- Collect and incorporate feedback from customers and channels to fine-tune growth approaches.
Requirements
- Graduation in any discipline such as BA, BCom, BBA, BSc, BTech, or BE.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in branch banking, particularly in rural lending or tractor finance.
- In-depth knowledge of tractor loan products and understanding of rural customers’ requirements.
- Demonstrated success in acquiring customers and managing dealership relationships.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical skills to evaluate market conditions and competitor tactics.
- Experience managing sales channels and dealer networks.
- Leadership qualities with capability to mentor team members.
- Integrity and compliance-focused mindset.
