Overview

This position focuses on strengthening banking relationships with customers and delivering superior service within the Joint Liability Group (JLG) segment. The role supports the Relationship Manager by identifying potential clients and converting these prospects into viable business ventures. It involves creating and managing JLGs across the lifecycle stages of formation, loan disbursal, and repayment while fostering client acquisition and deepening household-level customer relationships to maximize lifetime value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize zoning activities to understand and cater to household needs within assigned villages and areas.
  • Carry out end-user verifications following loan disbursal while meeting monthly and yearly group loan booking targets.
  • Analyze client requirements and identify additional revenue channels by cross-selling suitable products based on customer lifestyle, risk profile, and needs.
  • Drive market penetration for liabilities in untapped regions through lead generation and account openings aligned with customer requirements.
  • Accomplish individual and branch sales targets by acquiring new business, fostering referrals, and maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Ensure high efficiency in collections by enforcing discipline and proactive efforts.
  • Oversee accuracy in loan and savings account documentation.
  • Collaborate with operations officers for timely and precise data entry.
  • Maintain strict compliance with bank policies and guidelines.
  • Perform regular field audits and customer validations to uphold account quality standards.
  • Collect and analyze market intelligence and benchmark against competitor best practices.
  • Suggest process improvements to enhance service efficiency and quality across branches.
  • Support initiatives aimed at livelihood enhancement and community development.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service focused on retention, supporting product sales, and attracting new clients.

Qualifications and Experience

Must hold a graduate degree with 0 to 2 years of pertinent experience in branch banking.
