About the Role

IDFC FIRST Bank invites applications for the position of Teller within its Retail Banking division located at the Ratlam branch in Madhya Pradesh. This full-time role centers around providing excellent customer interaction and managing daily banking operations efficiently. As a Teller, you will serve as the primary customer interface, ensuring seamless transaction processing and fostering awareness of the bank's product offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers courteously and professionally.
• Handle banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payments with accuracy and speed.
• Maintain and reconcile cash drawers, documenting all transactions precisely.
• Promote and recommend bank products and services to customers.
• Respond to customer questions and resolve any complaints promptly.
• Adhere strictly to bank policies, operational procedures, and security guidelines.
• Work together with branch colleagues to achieve branch objectives and uphold service standards.
• Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all responsibilities.
• Provide operational support during periods of high customer volume.

Candidate Profile

• Educational qualification: Graduation in any field.
• Experience: Between zero to four years in customer service or cash management roles; background in banking or financial services preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Ability to adapt and perform well in a fast-paced work environment.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Exceptional accuracy and precision in task execution.
• Consent to undergo background and credit verification processes.
