Aditya Birla Capital’s asset management business was established in 1994 as Birla Sunlife Asset Management Company (BSLAMC), through a joint venture between Aditya Birla Group and Sunlife Financial Inc., a major international financial services firm based in Canada. The company manages Birla Sunlife Mutual Funds and, as of December 2015, was the fourth-largest fund management house in India with an average AUM of more than INR 1.4 lakh crores. Role Challenges

• Building strong, repeated recall for BSLAMC schemes among a distributor network that has access to a wide range of competing products.
• Staying continuously updated on market developments, distributor activity, and changing trends in a highly dynamic environment.
• Resolving investor service issues quickly and efficiently to maintain service quality.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain and grow revenue from the assigned set of relationships while contributing to regional sales targets.
• Gather market intelligence, identify prospective clients, make direct sales pitches, and work with channel partners to improve business growth.
• Conduct regular engagement and follow-up with distributors to strengthen relationships and support distribution objectives.
• Ensure complete adherence to internal reporting requirements and audit standards.
• Share weekly updates with Regional Heads and Channel Heads.
