Role overview

CPM delivers data-led sales, marketing, and customer experience solutions that help brands influence shoppers and customers at the right time and place. In this position, you will sit within the People team and play an important part in strengthening CPM’s culture through practical improvements, strong standards, and a proactive, digital-first approach.

This opportunity involves leading the recruitment function while collaborating with the wider People team, including HR and Regional Managers. You will work closely with senior leaders to shape and put recruitment plans into action across different teams, while also supporting, coaching, and developing the recruitment team so it delivers a high-quality service.

Responsibilities

  • Head up the recruitment team and provide day-to-day guidance and leadership.
  • Work with Senior Managers to create and roll out hiring strategies across multiple business areas.
  • Partner with HR and Regional Managers as part of the wider People team.
  • Support team development and help ensure recruitment processes are delivered to a best-in-class standard.
  • Contribute ideas and initiatives that improve people practices and promote continuous improvement.
  • Use a digital mindset to support recruitment activity and employer engagement.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of recruitment experience, either in-house or through an agency.
  • Background in a busy, commercially driven environment is strongly preferred, especially in Retail, Sales, or FMCG.
  • Hands-on experience working with an ATS, specifically Workable.
  • Experience using social media tools such as HubSpot to support recruitment campaigns across social channels.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills for engaging stakeholders across the business.
  • Confident presentation skills, including the ability to present to large groups.
  • A winning attitude and a digitally minded approach to work.
