About the Role
CPM Ireland is seeking a strategic Data & Insights Analyst to spearhead innovation within our organization and enhance client delivery. This role involves consulting with external clients to optimize their performance through our diverse tools and platforms. You will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights, developing strategies to maximize return on investment for our clients across all channels.
As a Strategic Insights & Data Analyst, you will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment. You will be comfortable presenting your findings and recommendations to both internal teams and external clients, fostering strong day-to-day relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate data-driven insights by working with multiple data sources and systems.
- Collaborate with commercial and client teams to understand market dynamics, category trends, and consumer behavior using data sources like EPOS, TGI, and GfK.
- Utilize various data analysis tools and techniques to create value-added insights for clients, helping them achieve their business objectives.
- Present actionable insights to internal teams and clients.
- Deliver insights that drive behavioral and business change.
- Develop data models to assess marketing campaign effectiveness, such as ROI.
- Interpret analytical briefs, design and execute analytical solutions, and manage the end-to-end delivery of analysis projects.
Requirements
- Possess a growth mindset and a passion for data, with an enjoyment for translating data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced environment, understanding the importance of a dynamic and strong team ethic.
- Client-facing experience and the ability to work independently.
- Capability to engage in commercial discussions and build rapport quickly.
- Proficiency in interpreting and summarizing data, presenting compelling insights clearly and impactfully using tools like MS PowerPoint, Word, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to all organizational levels using online systems, Microsoft reporting tools, Word, or PowerPoint.
- Proven experience manipulating large datasets using various technologies and techniques, including SQL, Azure, Alteryx, and Excel.
- Familiarity with field, shopper, experiential, and digital marketing disciplines and tactics is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of how retailers, brands, and SMEs generate profitable sales is desirable but not essential.
- Possession of mathematical, statistical, economic, or marketing qualifications is desirable but not essential.

This role offers a hybrid working model, requiring 3 days in the office.
