About the Role
Greenbank Services Club is seeking a motivated, energetic and committed receptionist to join its front-of-house team at its newly refreshed venue in Hillcrest, Queensland. The club offers a lively community setting with multiple food options and regular entertainment, creating a fast-paced customer service environment.
In this position, you will support reception operations, help maintain a high standard of member service and contribute to a positive experience for patrons across night shifts and weekends.
Key Duties
- Build and maintain strong relationships with club members
- Support adherence to liquor and gaming compliance requirements
- Help lift patron satisfaction by maintaining excellent service standards
- Handle incoming phone calls and route them to the appropriate person or answer queries directly
- Make microphone announcements as required
- Respond to questions and requests from members
- Contribute to customer service outcomes, individual and team KPI performance, and financial targets
- Coach and encourage team members where needed
Required Experience and Attributes
This is a hands-on reception role for someone with proven front-of-house and floor operations experience, including cash handling. The ideal candidate will be confident, decisive, detail-oriented and comfortable communicating with a broad and varied membership base.
A strong understanding of compliance obligations and relevant legislation is important, along with the ability to present professionally and deliver polished service at all times.
