Role Overview

We are seeking a Food Outlet Supervisor to lead daily operations at the Gardens Steak and Seafood restaurant, recognized as the top boutique dining establishment of 2026. This role is hands-on, focusing on upholding exemplary service standards, training, and promoting staff development within the food outlet team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach, mentor, and enhance the skills of the food outlet team.
  • Develop and execute daily operational plans.
  • Ensure timely, professional customer service delivery.
  • Maintain rigorous cleanliness standards for the outlet and its equipment.
  • Handle and resolve client complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Contribute to the creation and design of food menus.
  • Guarantee compliance with all relevant legislation.
  • Be available for flexible scheduling to meet operational demands.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality or customer service, with at least two years of relevant experience. A strong commitment to outstanding customer engagement, ability to foster lasting client relationships, and professional demeanor are essential. Candidates must be able to work autonomously and collaboratively, adapting to a rotating roster that covers early and late shifts seven days a week including public holidays.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven leadership capability with experience coaching diverse teams.
  • Skillful communication and customer relation abilities.
  • Effective time management and organizational aptitude.
  • Excellent personal grooming and presentation standards.
  • Minimum two years in hospitality.
  • Mandatory RSA and RSG statutory licenses.
  • Proficiency in conflict resolution and employee engagement.
  • Valid work authorization for Australia.
