Role Overview

The company is hiring a Product Owner for Chats to own roadmap direction, prioritize initiatives, and help shape product strategy through data-backed decisions and experimentation. This role works across product, engineering, design, and analytics to improve product performance and deliver measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of roadmap planning, prioritization, and strategic initiatives for the product direction.
  • Set goals, key performance indicators, hypotheses, and experiment plans based on business value and data findings.
  • Coordinate experiment launches, review outcomes, and determine whether to scale changes.
  • Track product metrics, landing-page performance, and areas where optimization can improve results.
  • Partner with product, development, design, and analytics teams to deliver product enhancements and technical solutions.
  • Research and recommend new tools, technologies, and optimization methods.
  • Align priorities across stakeholders and manage cross-functional coordination.
  • Present results, performance metrics, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Strengthen team workflows, product culture, and execution quality.
  • Establish dependable operational processes that consistently produce measurable results.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Proven background in building and managing product roadmaps and strategic planning processes.
  • Strong prioritization ability with clear communication of trade-offs and business impact.
  • Hands-on experience with product hypotheses, experimentation, and A/B testing.
  • Data-oriented mindset with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Understanding of product unit economics, core metrics, and digital marketing principles.
  • Experience using analytics and reporting tools, dashboards, and performance monitoring systems.
  • Ability to design, launch, and evaluate experiments.
  • Practical experience with A/B testing platforms such as Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize, or comparable internal tools.
  • Working knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to communicate effectively with developers.
  • Understanding of APIs, integrations, web analytics, and tracking systems.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles and customer journey optimization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Russian and English.
