The company is building new standards in vaporization through proprietary heating solutions designed to improve performance, consistency, and safety. Backed by a strong IP portfolio and dedicated manufacturing capabilities, it is positioned for scalable, high-quality production and continued industry leadership.

As the company moves toward 2026, its priorities include product innovation, broader market reach, and stronger operational execution. The organization is working toward long-term growth across multiple industries.

The environment is designed for high performers who like to think creatively, challenge conventional approaches, and contribute in a meaningful way. Open communication, transparency, recognition, and a strong sense of teamwork are central to how the company operates.

Role Overview

The Product Owner will report to the Group Head of Cannabis and will be responsible for shaping, organizing, and advancing Greentank’s THC product portfolio. In this role, you will act as the business lead for assigned product categories, identify commercial opportunities, convert customer and market needs into clear product requirements, and ensure investments generate measurable value and support strategic growth.

This position sits at the intersection of commercial planning and product development. You will guide the product vision and roadmap from early concept work through commercialization while working closely with Commercial, Engineering, Quality, Scientific, Supply Chain, and Project Management teams to keep priorities aligned with business objectives, customer expectations, and market direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the roadmap and prioritization for assigned THC product categories so they stay aligned with customer expectations, business goals, and portfolio priorities.
  • Spot product opportunities through market analysis, customer feedback, and return-on-investment evaluation.
  • Define product requirements and market positioning that support both customer needs and company strategy.
  • Rank opportunities and development work according to customer value, commercial potential, technical practicality, and strategic fit.
  • Set success metrics, target customer segments, and business rationale for new development efforts.
  • Recommend when projects should be accelerated, redirected, or stopped based on technical and commercial evidence.
  • Track portfolio results and initiate corrective actions where needed.
  • Own product outcomes across the full lifecycle, from concept to post-launch review.
  • Maintain success measures, market positioning, and value propositions for the assigned categories.
  • Monitor adoption and performance metrics and act when results fall short.
  • Use customer, market, and operational feedback to shape future roadmap decisions.
  • Make product decisions by balancing customer value, feasibility, and commercial objectives.
  • Serve as the final decision-maker on scope, prioritization, and trade-offs.
  • Lead product initiatives from opportunity identification through launch.
  • Translate market opportunities into measurable product requirements and success criteria.
  • Ensure development plans reflect technical feasibility, customer expectations, and readiness for operations.
  • Support structured decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Manage progress through stage-gate checkpoints and milestone reviews.
  • Oversee commercialization planning and the handoff to operational teams.
  • Conduct post-launch reviews and use findings to improve future products.
  • Keep development activity aligned with product strategy and broader business goals.
  • Act as the main product contact for customer-facing development work.
  • Engage with customers to test concepts and collect insights for future opportunities.
  • Turn customer and market intelligence into product requirements and roadmap priorities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with strategic partners and key stakeholders.
  • Stay current on market trends, competitor movements, and regulatory changes.
  • Build working knowledge of atomization systems, vape formulations, and the factors that influence product performance.
  • Challenge technical assumptions so engineering effort stays commercially relevant.
  • Work with Engineering, Scientific, and Quality teams to ensure decisions are backed by technical evidence.
  • Balance performance, manufacturability, quality, and cost across the product development process.
  • Confirm that requirements are validated and commercially meaningful.
  • Support validation planning and performance metric definition.
  • Guide cross-functional teams across Commercial, Technical, and Supply Chain functions.
  • Align teams on priorities, compromises, and resource allocation.
  • Help resolve issues and run effective decision-making discussions.
  • Provide strategic guidance to Project Managers on priorities, requirements, and business alignment.
  • Communicate portfolio progress and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Encourage strong cross-department collaboration to support successful outcomes.
  • Contribute to governance frameworks and portfolio management systems, and help improve them over time.
  • Strengthen the consistency and traceability of product requirements, specifications, and supporting documentation across teams.
  • Build portfolio dashboards and structured executive reporting.
  • Support efforts to speed up execution and improve product development effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement in development processes and delivery speed.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, STEM, or a closely related field is required; an advanced technical degree or an MBA would be considered an advantage.
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in Product Management, Commercialization, or a similar discipline.
  • Background in portfolio management, strategic investment decisions, and presenting business cases to senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to commercialize complex hardware from concept through mass production while working effectively with commercial and manufacturing teams.
  • Experience in consumer electronics, cannabis, or medical devices is preferred.
  • Strong performance orientation and the ability to consistently deliver high standards.
  • Collaborative leadership style that encourages teamwork and sets the tone by example.
  • Creative problem-solving ability and comfort generating new ideas for improvement.
  • Results-focused mindset with a drive to meet and exceed goals.
  • Clear communication skills with an emphasis on timely, accurate, and effective information sharing.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for team outcomes.
