Job description

Role overview

This position sits at the center of Banxa and OSL Pay’s pricing strategy, where pricing is treated as a dynamic product capability rather than a fixed table. Since the business competes directly with other crypto wallet providers, the ability to react to market changes in real time has a direct impact on win rate.

The team is shifting from manual decision-making to an automated, algorithm-driven pricing engine. This role is for a hands-on product leader who will shape the logic, data feedback loops, and engineering roadmap needed to respond to competitors quickly and effectively.

The role is open to candidates based in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, or Australia.

What you will own

  • Lead the product roadmap for dynamic pricing systems and define the rules the engine uses to make pricing decisions.
  • Create and refine algorithmic approaches inspired by surge pricing and yield management, balancing conversion performance against margin.
  • Partner with engineering to build automated competitor-rate monitoring and enable instant pricing changes based on live inputs.
  • Turn pricing into a repeatable, automated operating capability by setting the thresholds and parameters that govern the system.
  • Design and run frequent A/B tests on spreads and fee structures, using SQL and Python to measure effects on transaction volume.

About you

You are likely a product manager or technical individual contributor who has worked where engineering and economics meet. Experience from surge, yield, or marketplace dynamics teams would be especially relevant.

You should bring at least 5 years of experience in product management or pricing engineering in fast-moving environments such as ride-hailing, food delivery, travel OTAs, or e-commerce. A strong builder mindset is important: you have either built pricing infrastructure yourself or optimized it extensively, and you understand how pricing logic is implemented in production systems.

You are expected to be highly comfortable with SQL and Python, and to use data directly rather than waiting for dashboards or BI output. Experience from companies such as Grab, Gojek, Traveloka, Skyscanner, AirAsia, or Foodpanda is considered a strong advantage.

Success measures

  • Pricing operations shift from manual spreadsheets to a self-optimizing automated system.
  • The number of partner-wallet placements where the product appears as the top choice increases measurably.
  • The pricing framework scales across new assets, regions, and payment methods without requiring additional manual headcount.
