Job description

Role overview

This position focuses on shaping how enterprise customers actually work with Conduct. The goal is to uncover real operational pain points, map end-to-end workflows, and turn that understanding into product experiences that are simple, useful, and effective. In this role, success is measured by how clearly the product helps users work, not only by how polished the visuals look.

About Conduct

Conduct is building an AI operating system for large enterprises that need to move faster than legacy systems allow. Many global companies are held back by older SAP environments, custom code, and long implementation cycles that slow down even basic change. Conduct is designed to interpret this complexity and help organizations operate with greater speed and flexibility.

The company already works with major enterprises and has secured important systems integrator partnerships. After a recent $60M Series A, demand is growing quickly. The team is small, highly capable, based in London and New York City, and works from the office. The company sponsors visas and values accountability, fast execution, and collaborative, low-ego teamwork. It also welcomes applicants from underrepresented groups in tech.

What you will own

You will be responsible for the full user experience, from the first interaction through to regular daily use. A major part of the job is spending time with customers in their environments, learning how they think, how they work, and what slows them down. Those insights will then need to be translated into product direction, workflows, and interaction patterns that can be delivered with engineering and product partners.

This role owns the full loop from asking the right questions to researching, synthesizing findings, and turning them into shipped product improvements.

Who this role suits

The ideal candidate is deeply curious about how people work and what creates friction in complex systems. They are more motivated by a well-structured user journey than by decorative visuals, and they understand that in enterprise software, clarity and usability often matter more than surface-level polish.

Additional information

The team works in-office in London and NYC. Conduct supports visa sponsorship. The company emphasizes extreme ownership, high pace, and direct, ego-free collaboration. It also notes that diverse teams create better products and encourages people from underrepresented backgrounds in tech to apply.

How the role is expected to operate

  • Design complex digital products from start to finish, ideally in enterprise software, B2B SaaS, or similarly intricate environments.
  • Use strong UX research methods to gather meaningful insights through interviews, observation, and time spent with customers in their work setting.
  • Translate research findings into practical design decisions that stand up in real-world use.
  • Bring a considered perspective on how AI changes user behavior and interaction models.
  • Handle both visual and interaction design well enough to own the product experience end to end.
  • Work in a pragmatic, shipping-focused way by building prototypes quickly, iterating from feedback, and prioritizing impact over perfection.
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering as a partner, sharing customer learning and helping the team make informed decisions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience designing complex digital products across the full product lifecycle.
  • Background in enterprise software, B2B SaaS, or other workflow-heavy product environments is strongly preferred.
  • Strong ability to conduct user research and extract actionable signals from customers.
  • Experience turning customer insights into design choices that are robust and practical.
  • Comfort working on AI-native products and understanding how AI reshapes interaction design.
  • Good command of visual and interaction design, with the ability to own delivery independently.
  • A bias toward rapid prototyping, feedback-driven iteration, and shipping useful work quickly.
  • A collaborative, low-ego working style.

Perks and benefits

  • Visa sponsorship is available.
  • Opportunity to work on mission-critical enterprise systems with major customers.
  • High-impact role in a small, talent-dense team.
  • Based in London with an in-office working model.
  • Work directly on an AI-native product with ambitious product challenges.
