Where you'll work

Job description

Role overview

As a Product Designer at Conduct, you will shape how large enterprise customers actually use the platform. The focus is on understanding real-world workflows, identifying friction points, and turning deep customer insight into product experiences that improve how people work. In this role, clarity and usefulness matter more than surface-level visual polish.

About Conduct

Conduct is building an AI operating system for enterprises that need to move faster than the legacy systems holding them back. Many large organizations still rely on heavily customized SAP environments and other complex systems that make even small process changes slow, expensive, and difficult to deliver. Conduct exists to reduce that complexity and help enterprises regain speed and momentum.

The company already works with major enterprises on critical systems, has secured significant systems integrator partnerships, and recently raised a $60M Series A. The team is small, highly skilled, and operating from London and New York City with a culture built around ownership, pace, and low-ego collaboration. Conduct also supports visa sponsorship and encourages candidates from underrepresented groups in tech to apply.

What you will own

You will be responsible for the entire user experience journey, from early discovery through to deeply embedded daily use. This includes spending substantial time with customers in their environments, learning how they think, how they operate, and where their workflows break down. Those insights will form the basis for the product direction you help define.

You will then translate customer understanding into clear workflows, interaction patterns, and design decisions, while working closely with product and engineering teams to bring those solutions into the product. This is a role where research is not passed off to someone else — you will own the full loop from question to insight to shipped experience.

Who we're looking for

The ideal candidate is deeply curious about human behaviour, workplace processes, and the obstacles that prevent people from doing their best work. You should be more energized by mapping a strong user journey than by creating purely decorative interfaces, and you should understand that in enterprise software, those are not always the same thing.

Company culture

Conduct values extreme ownership, a high-velocity approach to work, and direct collaboration with minimal ego. The work you do here will have meaningful influence on the company itself and on how major enterprises operate.

Additional information

  • This is an onsite full-time position based in New York, NY.
  • The team works closely across London and New York City.
  • Conduct sponsors visas.
  • The company especially welcomes applications from underrepresented groups in tech.
  • The strongest contribution in this role is creating clarity and practical product experiences, not just attractive design output.

Required experience and capabilities

  • Proven experience designing complex digital products from start to finish, ideally in enterprise software, B2B SaaS, or similarly intricate workflow-heavy environments.
  • Strong UX research ability, including interviews, observation, and other methods that surface meaningful customer insight.
  • Capability to turn research findings into design decisions that remain effective in real use.
  • A thoughtful perspective on how AI changes product interaction and user behaviour.
  • Good visual and interaction design skills with the ability to own work end-to-end.
  • A practical mindset with a bias toward shipping quickly and iterating based on feedback.
  • Comfort working collaboratively with product and engineering teams.
  • Low-ego communication style and willingness to share learnings openly with teammates.

What success looks like

Success in this role means creating products that reflect real customer needs, streamline complex enterprise workflows, and deliver meaningful operational impact. The work should help users move through the product with greater clarity and less friction.
