Role overview
As a Product Analyst focused on Lending, you will support the design, development, and delivery of revenue-generating products. You will contribute to growth initiatives for the Instant Loan and Balance Transfer offerings, working closely with a multidisciplinary team and reporting to the Product Lead for Lending.
What you will do
- Take ownership of delivering new product features and capabilities end to end.
- Track and manage post-launch product and feature performance against OKRs.
- Develop and roll out new product propositions and strategies in a highly competitive market, including pressure from traditional banks and newer payment providers.
- Use analytics to uncover opportunities through customer and credit segmentation.
- Manage the product lifecycle across acquisition, portfolio growth, and cross-sell initiatives to improve market share and revenue.
- Represent the customer perspective in product decisions and service design.
- Handle day-to-day lending operations.
- Partner with Operations and Engineering to keep customer journeys moving on schedule.
Role-specific technical competencies
The role expects capability in project management at an advanced level, along with core strength in user research, product analysis, product development and management, and agile delivery. Basic familiarity with cards operations and technology, plus credit risk management, is also part of the technical profile.
What makes a strong fit
You should be analytical, execution-oriented, and comfortable simplifying complex issues into elegant customer experiences. Success in this role also depends on collaboration, adaptability, and a strong commitment to user needs. Experience working across research and UX design disciplines is advantageous, as is a practical, balanced approach to user, business, and technology needs.
Eligibility and experience
The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of progressive experience in financial institutions, including a minimum of 2 years in product and project management. Lending experience is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as finance, computer science, or electrical engineering is required. You should also have a solid understanding of mobile and web technologies, hands-on experience in agile environments, strong stakeholder and interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence through persuasive written and verbal communication.
