About Tripledot Studios
Tripledot Studios is among the largest independent mobile game developers globally. The company has won multiple awards and operates with a team of more than 2,500 people spread across 12 studios. Its game portfolio features several leading mobile titles that have reached top chart rankings worldwide and attract over 25 million daily active users.
The company is guided by a simple belief: when people genuinely enjoy their work, others will enjoy the results. Tripledot is focused on building a workplace it can be proud of, with highly driven, exceptionally smart, and detail-focused people who love creating games. The long-term goal is to become the most successful games company in the world.
Role Summary
Tripledot Studios Melbourne is expanding and is hiring a Product Manager to help shape some of its most ambitious new game initiatives. In this role, you will partner with multiple teams to develop, guide, and grow new mobile games. You will use creativity, teamwork, and data-led judgment to create game visions and concepts, lead major feature development, and perform detailed project analysis.
You will have responsibility for specific games, operational processes, and team outputs within set boundaries, ensuring that delivery aligns with Tripledot’s strategic objectives and quality standards.
What You Will Do
- Partner with the Product Director to lead cross-functional teams in designing, building, and launching new features, then assess how they perform in the casual mobile gaming market.
- Create and maintain product roadmaps using real-time data, market trends, and player feedback, including 3–6 month plans and backlog prioritisation across key product tracks and epics.
- Use analytics and learnings from existing Tripledot games to guide decisions and build intuitive, engaging, and accessible player experiences.
- Help shape game vision, positioning, and monetisable features by turning ideas into detailed concepts, validating them with users, and deciding what gets implemented.
- Work closely with Art, Development, UA, Monetisation, and Data Science teams to keep everyone aligned on the shared direction for the game.
- Lead large-scale feature work from requirements and wireframes through launch, then review and analyse the outcome.
- Support and motivate an overseas team contributing to the development of new games.
- Stay flexible and contribute wherever needed across different parts of game development.
- Promote Tripledot’s values and help ensure the Melbourne hub feels fully connected to the wider company.
- Take on other reasonable ad hoc duties appropriate to the role.
What You Need
- Strong understanding of the domain and wider industry, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions.
- Comfort participating in technical discussions and supporting important business initiatives.
- Excellent ability in communication, problem solving, and critical thinking.
- Solid expertise in managing game economies.
- Track record of improving and establishing project processes.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt messages for different audiences, both internal and external.
- Experience communicating in a transparent and inclusive way, including bringing together differing viewpoints.
- Ability to oversee the day-to-day work of people or projects within clear limits.
- Background in designing complex features and live operations functionality for scaled games.
- Capability to help move a product and team from growth mode into a stable, scaled operation.
- Experience interviewing and hiring product managers.
Benefits and Perks
- 25 days of holiday in total, made up of 20 paid leave days plus 5 additional days per year, alongside bank holidays.
- Hybrid schedule with office attendance required 3 days per week.
- 20 fully remote working days each year, allowing work from anywhere in the world.
- Company-funded superannuation plan.
- Ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Monthly stipend for private medical cover, with a future transition planned to company-paid health insurance as the team grows.
- Confidential support through an Employee Assistance Program.
- Family-forming and fertility support, subject to policy.
