Role overview
This is a permanent driving postperson position based at Crawley Delivery Office, RH10 1AA. The role is 37 hours per week, spread over 5 days from Monday to Sunday, with shifts between 06:00 and 19:30. Normal daily working time is 9 hours. Because of operational needs, Sunday working will be required on a rota and the Sunday shift runs from 10:30 to 19:30.
The role sits within a major national delivery network that serves households and businesses in all weather conditions, handling everything from important documents to everyday purchases. It is a physically active job that involves being out and about in the community, staying fit while providing a trusted delivery service.
Compensation and offer
You may be entitled to a welcome bonus of £1500. The pay for this permanent role is a guaranteed hourly rate of £13.68, paid monthly and adjusted to suit your working hours if the role is part time. Payment is made in instalments and remains subject to the stated terms and conditions.
Working pattern
Hours: 37.00 per week. The working week is across 5 days, Monday through Sunday, with shifts scheduled between 06:00 and 19:30. Due to business demand, Sunday cover is required on a rota basis between 10:30 and 19:30.

You should be energetic, dependable, and comfortable working on your own initiative. The role suits someone who is organised, punctual, customer-focused, and approachable in the community. A positive attitude, pride in your work, and a willingness to walk for long periods and work outdoors in all weather are important.
