About The Hardiman Hotel
Situated in Galway's Eyre Square since 1852, The Hardiman Hotel is renowned for its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to exceptional standards. We are currently seeking a Night Porter to become part of our skilled team, playing a crucial role in maintaining a secure and inviting environment for our guests throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage reception tasks including guest check-ins and check-outs as well as conducting night audits.
- Maintain the hotel's safety and cleanliness by performing regular inspections.
- Support night-time operations such as assisting with bar services, room service, and basic food preparation.
- Prepare and organize conference rooms and public spaces for upcoming events.
- Address guest requests promptly and professionally, ensuring excellent service.
- Report any maintenance problems and handle lost and found items efficiently.
- Provide valet parking services when necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience in a comparable role within hospitality.
- Excellent communication abilities combined with strong customer service skills.
- Proven experience managing guest interactions and working during overnight shifts.
- Possession of a full clean driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.
