Role Overview

We seek a committed Hospitality Manager to lead and manage the daily front office hospitality operations at The Hardiman. This position demands an engaging, confident leader with an innate warmth and passion for surpassing guest expectations. The role involves supporting day-to-day front office functioning, upholding exemplary service standards, and maintaining a professional, calm, and solution-oriented attitude in a fast-paced luxury setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily front office operations to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Provide consistent and detailed reports regularly to senior management.
  • Design and deliver daily staff training programs to maintain high standards.
  • Lead by example, acting as a visible role model and mentor for the team.
  • Proactively anticipate guest requirements and handle issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Ensure effective service recovery processes to sustain guest satisfaction.
  • Foster strong interdepartmental relationships to facilitate seamless operational coordination.

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in front office, guest services, or supervisory/management roles in high-paced environments.
  • Natural leadership ability with a passion for providing exceptional hospitality service.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Decisive with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to remain composed and effective under pressure.
  • A sincere dedication to delivering genuine Irish hospitality.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Fluent spoken and written English is essential.
  • Familiarity with Opera or comparable Property Management Systems is preferred.
  • A tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management or a related discipline is desirable.
  • Exceptional client relationship management focused on superior service delivery.
