About the Role and Company
We are seeking a dedicated Night Guest Service Agent to join the Oaks Brisbane Festival Suites on a full-time basis. The position forms part of Minor Hotels, a globally recognized hospitality group overseeing more than 70 properties in Australasia and a portfolio of 640 hotels across 66 countries. Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Offer a warm, welcoming reception for guests arriving during night hours, ensuring smooth and efficient check-in procedures and promptly addressing any immediate inquiries or needs.
- Maintain polite, clear communication with guests, fellow team members, and stakeholders through multiple channels such as face-to-face, telephone, and email.
- Manage guest reservations, updates, and special requests accurately using property management software to guarantee seamless operations.
- Serve as the primary assistance contact for guests throughout their stay by promptly resolving issues and providing personalized local recommendations to improve their experience.
Work Schedule
- Shifts run from Sunday to Thursday, starting at 10:00 PM and concluding at 6:30 AM.
Compensation
- Monday to Friday: $27.97 per hour plus applicable penalty rates.
- Saturday: $34.96 per hour plus applicable penalty rates.
- Sunday: $41.96 per hour plus applicable penalty rates.
Qualifications and Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in providing outstanding service within hotels, hospitality, or customer-facing roles.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally across various platforms.
