Role Overview
Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort is hiring a casual Guest Service Agent who enjoys delivering excellent service and creating a welcoming environment for guests. The role is centred on helping guests feel comfortable from arrival to departure, offering a smooth check-in and check-out experience, and sharing useful information about local attractions and dining options.
Key Duties
- Greet arriving guests in a warm, professional way and manage check-in efficiently while responding to immediate questions or requests.
- Communicate clearly and politely with guests, teammates, and stakeholders through face-to-face interactions, phone calls, and email.
- Handle reservations, amendments, and special requests accurately by using property management systems to keep bookings and availability organised.
- Serve as a key contact during the guest stay by providing quick support, resolving concerns, and suggesting personalised recommendations to improve the overall experience.
Shift Pattern
This role operates on a rotating roster from Monday through Sunday. Scheduled shifts fall between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm, and the pattern may change based on business needs.
Pay Details
Hourly rates are listed before superannuation. Pay is $33.38 per hour Monday to Friday, $40.05 per hour on Saturday, and $46.73 per hour on Sunday.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant will have experience in a hotel, hospitality, or other customer-facing environment and be confident in delivering high-quality service. Strong verbal and written communication skills are important, along with a proactive approach, a positive attitude, and the ability to resolve guest issues efficiently.
A polished professional presentation and a willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and varying shifts are essential.
