About the opportunity
Brian Perry Civil is seeking a New Business Coordinator to join its Auckland team. This position plays an important support role within the new business function, helping tender and proposal activity run smoothly and on schedule. The work is varied and involves coordination, document handling, record keeping, and communication across internal teams and external stakeholders.
The company works on complex civil construction projects that contribute to communities and environmental protection. It values collaboration, practical thinking, safety, sustainability, and ongoing development.
Key duties
- Partner with the new business team to organise and manage tender opportunities.
- Support the creation of tender submissions, including expressions of interest, registrations of interest, and formal tenders, while meeting strict deadlines.
- Prepare and coordinate supply chain packages, along with related correspondence and document control.
- Handle incoming and outgoing client documentation.
- Maintain document records in Prospect Manager and SharePoint.
What this role needs
- Prior administration experience is preferred, especially where it supported engineering or construction bid teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication ability.
- Experience gathering information, compiling documents, or preparing proposals and briefs is an advantage.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, deadline-focused setting.
- Good planning, coordination, and strategic thinking skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational ability.
- Confidence influencing and negotiating with people at different levels.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
