About the Role
This position is based in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, and offers a standard workweek of 37.5 hours. As part of TD's Personal & Commercial Banking division, the Mobile Mortgage Specialist plays a critical role in business development within one of Canada's largest financial institutions.
The role involves extensive customer engagement, focusing on cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships, leveraging referrals from realtors, builders, financial planners, and other influential contacts. TD provides comprehensive sales training, including mortgage credit knowledge, to support your integration into the corporate culture and ensure your success within the team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and grow a mortgage customer base through proactive outreach and relationship-building activities.
- Target and engage referral sources such as realtors, builders, and financial planners to drive mortgage sales.
- Collaborate with your Sales Manager through joint sales calls and receive monthly coaching to refine sales strategies.
- Utilize dedicated sales management software tailored to facilitate sales channel success.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in sales, demonstrating strong customer relationship management.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-motivated, proactive approach to business growth.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, networking, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of retail banking and/or credit adjudication is preferred.
- Post-secondary education is favored but not mandatory.
