Role Overview

As a Metering Specialist, you will oversee and coordinate all metering-related tasks for customers serviced by Robotron. Your responsibilities will encompass managing meter installations, replacements, removals, and troubleshooting while ensuring compliance and transparent communication with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complete metering operations including installations, replacements, removals, and resolving malfunctions.
  • Maintain and update internal systems with accurate records of metering jobs.
  • Ensure all metering documentation and data are verified for completeness and aligned with compliance standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with electricians, field teams, network providers, and contractors to fulfill service targets within stipulated timelines.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, handling queries and complaints professionally via phone and email.
  • Monitor recurring issues and trends to identify and implement process improvements enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular reports on metering performance, service quality, and compliance outcomes.

Candidate Requirements

  • Completion of NCEA Level 2 or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with system operations.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a customer-facing role, either in front or back office.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and capacity to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in customer correspondence.
  • Possess a customer-centric approach with professional complaint management.
  • Analytical problem-solving abilities with a history of contributing to continuous improvements.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes while preserving accuracy and quality.
