The company focuses on helping organizations improve connection, teamwork, and customer engagement through essential communications tools.

Role Summary

Sangoma is looking for a senior marketing leader who can own demand generation, marketing operations, public relations, events, and channel partner marketing. This position is designed to strengthen the brand, expand market reach, and support growth across SMB and mid-market customers.

In this leadership role, you will guide a marketing team and work closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and executive stakeholders to increase pipeline, improve brand visibility, and contribute to revenue goals across direct and partner-led channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and run integrated growth programs across paid media, email, lifecycle campaigns, content, SEO, website improvements, and marketing automation to generate quality leads and support revenue growth.
  • Create and implement partner-led acquisition strategies with Sales and Channel leadership to produce opportunities for partners and support retention, expansion, and upsell efforts.
  • Lead marketing technology, lead assignment, campaign execution, attribution, and performance reporting, while working with CRM, Revenue Operations, and Data Analytics teams to improve results.
  • Manage PR, media relations, analyst engagement, thought leadership, and corporate communications to strengthen market credibility and brand recognition, partnering with Design to keep messaging consistent.
  • Own the planning, execution, budgeting, vendor management, and measurement of events such as corporate events, partner conferences, trade shows, webinars, customer events, and sponsored industry programs.
  • Collaborate across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Design, Revenue Operations, and Executive Leadership to align go-to-market plans and maximize business impact.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop the marketing team, while overseeing external agencies and vendors and encouraging innovation, accountability, agility, and continuous improvement.

Experience and Requirements

  • 6-11+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including at least 3-5 years in a leadership role building and developing strong teams.
  • A proven record of creating demand generation programs that deliver measurable pipeline, customer acquisition, and revenue outcomes.
  • Background in SaaS, cloud communications, telecommunications, UCaaS, CCaaS, CPaaS, MSP, or a similar technology environment.
  • Strong knowledge of channel and partner marketing, including work with VARs, MSPs, distributors, master agents, technology partners, and reseller networks.
  • Demonstrated success with partner marketing, co-branded campaigns, joint go-to-market efforts, lead-sharing programs, and partner enablement.
  • Deep capability in demand generation, digital marketing, website optimization, marketing operations, lead management, and marketing analytics.
  • Experience managing multi-channel marketing budgets with emphasis on ROI, attribution, and performance measurement.
  • Practical experience using tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, WordPress, Figma, Jira, and related marketing automation, CRM, and project management systems.
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to use funnel data, campaign metrics, and business insights to guide strategy.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for interacting with executives, customers, partners, analysts, media, and industry groups.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, Customer Success, Engineering, Revenue Operations, and executive teams.
  • Comfort working in fast-moving, agile environments while protecting brand quality and maintaining a customer- and partner-first approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience marketing Unified Communications, Contact Center, Voice, Telecommunications, Cloud Communications, AI-based business applications, or related solutions.
  • Exposure to both direct sales and channel-led go-to-market strategies.
  • Knowledge of partner programs, MDF administration, partner recruitment, and channel enablement.
  • Experience leading PR, analyst relations, thought leadership, and corporate communications initiatives.
  • Background in managing corporate events, trade shows, partner conferences, and customer-facing marketing activities.

Benefits

  • Broad benefits coverage including health, vision, dental, long-term disability, and short-term disability after a brief waiting period.
  • 401(k) matching with a 100% match on the first 4%.
  • Employee stock purchase plan available after one year of service.
  • Flexible time off and company holidays.
  • An entrepreneurial environment with strong opportunities for career growth.
