Job description

About the role

Sangoma is a worldwide provider of modern business communications, including UCaaS, CCaaS, CPaaS, MSP offerings, and AI-driven communication tools. The company’s purpose is to help organizations strengthen connectivity, teamwork, and customer engagement through essential communication technology.

This position is for a seasoned, performance-focused marketing leader who can steer demand generation, marketing operations, public relations, events, and channel partner marketing. The goal is to strengthen the Sangoma brand and support business expansion across SMB and mid-market customers.

In this leadership role, you will guide a skilled marketing team and work closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and executive stakeholders to increase pipeline, raise market visibility, and contribute to revenue results across both direct and partner-led channels.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and run integrated growth programs across paid media, email, lifecycle marketing, content, SEO, website improvements, and marketing automation to generate qualified demand and support revenue growth.
  • Create and implement partner-led acquisition initiatives with Sales and Channel leaders, while also supporting retention, expansion, and upsell activities through Customer Success.
  • Own marketing technology, lead management, campaign execution, attribution, and performance reporting; track and analyze full-funnel KPIs with CRM, Revenue Operations, and Data Analytics partners.
  • Lead PR, media relations, analyst relations, thought leadership, and corporate communications efforts that build awareness, reputation, and industry credibility.
  • Work with the Design team to keep messaging and brand execution consistent across programs and channels.
  • Plan, execute, and measure corporate events, partner conferences, trade shows, webinars, customer events, and sponsored industry programs.
  • Manage event budgets, vendors, logistics, and coordination across teams to deliver strong event outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, Engineering, Design, Revenue Operations, and Executive Leadership to align go-to-market plans and maximize impact.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop the marketing team, while managing outside agencies and vendors and promoting a culture of experimentation, accountability, agility, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 6 to 11+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including 3 to 5 years in people leadership roles.
  • Strong track record of building demand generation programs that produce measurable pipeline, customer acquisition, and revenue outcomes.
  • Background in SaaS, cloud communications, telecommunications, UCaaS, CCaaS, CPaaS, MSP, or a similar technology sector.
  • Solid understanding of channel and partner marketing models, including work with VARs, MSPs, distributors, master agents, technology partners, and resellers.
  • Experience building partner marketing efforts such as co-branded campaigns, joint go-to-market programs, lead-sharing systems, and partner enablement plans.
  • Deep knowledge of demand generation, digital marketing, website optimization, marketing operations, lead management, and marketing analytics.
  • Experience managing budgets across multiple channels with an eye on ROI, attribution, and performance tracking.
  • Practical experience with tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, WordPress, Figma, Jira, and related CRM, automation, and project management systems.
  • Strong analytical approach with the ability to use funnel data, campaign metrics, and business insights to shape decisions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills for working with executives, customers, partners, analysts, media, and broader industry audiences.
  • Proven ability to work across Sales, Product, Customer Success, Engineering, Revenue Operations, and executive teams.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, agile environment while protecting brand quality and maintaining a customer- and partner-first perspective.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
  • No agencies or third-party resumes, please.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience marketing UC, contact center, voice, telecom, cloud communications, AI-powered business apps, or closely related solutions.
  • Exposure to both direct sales and channel-led go-to-market approaches.
  • Familiarity with partner programs, MDF management, partner recruitment, and channel enablement.
  • Experience running public relations, analyst relations, thought leadership, and corporate communications programs.
  • Background leading corporate events, trade shows, partner conferences, and customer-facing marketing activities.

Benefits

  • Broad benefit coverage, including medical, vision, dental, and long-term and short-term disability, available after a short waiting period.
  • 401(k) match at 100% of contributions up to 4%.
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan available after one year of service.
  • Flexible time off plus company holidays.
  • Entrepreneurial environment with strong opportunities for career growth.
